In the 10th minute Youri Goolen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Van Beylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frits Van Beylen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbie Van Eijken went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Robbie Van Eijken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Van Beylen having to interfere. Frits Van Beylen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Van Eijken in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Youri Goolen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Van Beylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Dechamps in the 28th minute of play forced Moerhuize's goalkeeper Frits Van Beylen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Tommas Sannen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moerhuize's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommas Sannen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Moerhuize's Charlie Temmerman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christoff Dirckx. Christoff Dirckx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Frits Van Beylen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Dechamps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Flamenco United fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Flamenco United's Matthieu Leempoels looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Moerhuize players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flamenco United were winning 1-3.

Frits Van Beylen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Goolen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Edward Wuyts took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Frits Van Beylen to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute Flamenco United were awarded a corner. Hannes De Reijck went to the cornerflag to take it. Flamenco United's Hannes De Reijck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frits Van Beylen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Moerhuize's Frits Van Beylen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Dechamps in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Flamenco United's Edward Wuyts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frits Van Beylen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. 91 minutes into the match, Moerhuize's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Wuyts came free, but Frits Van Beylen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Matthieu Leempoels could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Frits Van Beylen however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Flamenco United's zone, Charlie Temmerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoff Dirckx came out of the goal and Charlie Temmerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Moerhuize fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Flamenco United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
