Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dieter Haelemans started the match with the kick off. Dieter Haelemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan De Geyter having to interfere. Jan De Geyter came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by De krokante kroketjes's Dieter Haelemans. But to his dismay, Dieter Haelemans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sam Stuijckens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Helssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jan De Geyter came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by De krokante kroketjes's Dieter Haelemans. But to his dismay, Dieter Haelemans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Dieter Haelemans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jan De Geyter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the game, De krokante kroketjes's Brian Lenoir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan De Geyter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 45 minutes into the match, Brian Lenoir notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Fauna Utd's Jan De Geyter. Jan De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Fauna Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De krokante kroketjes were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerard Helssen was the one to do the kick off. Dieter Haelemans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Jan De Geyter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 62nd minute Martijn Verbeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, De krokante kroketjes's Jan De Geyter threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martijn Verbeeck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brian Lenoir took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan De Geyter. Jan De Geyter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Cederik Van de Velde kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Dieter Haelemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan De Geyter having to make a save. With a little luck, Fauna Utd's Jan De Geyter got control of the ball when Ben Van Cleijnenbreughel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karel-Jan Coryn hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, De krokante kroketjes's Matthy Anteunis tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, De krokante kroketjes's Martijn Verbeeck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan De Geyter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieter Haelemans got free with Jan De Geyter in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Helssen to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Jan De Geyter managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when De krokante kroketjes's Dieter Haelemans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martijn Verbeeck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. De krokante kroketjes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, De krokante kroketjes's Dieter Haelemans got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Karel-Jan Coryn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fauna Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De krokante kroketjes the free kick. Karel-Jan Coryn kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Matthy Anteunis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sam Stuijckens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Massenhove, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. De krokante kroketjes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
