Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederic Verduijn started the match with the kick off. Kim Van Bockorst charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Van Bockorst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vc Brye getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kim Van Bockorst hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Cornelis Debock dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geordy De Leger, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charalambos Zardari in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octaaf Van Acht saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. Octaaf Van Acht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charalambos Zardari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's Frederic Verduijn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geordy De Leger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Thys Helsen fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Vliegplein's protests and gave Thys Helsen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Thys Helsen hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Vc Brye got a freekick which was hit by Octaaf Van Adorp. In the 42ndth minute of the game Charalambos Zardari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Octaaf Van Acht was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charalambos Zardari in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octaaf Van Acht saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. In the 45th minute Cederique Wigers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octaaf Van Acht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Octaaf Van Acht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Zardari in the 51st minute of play. After 57 minutes, Cornelis Debock made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vc Brye's Geordy De Leger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61st play minutes Charalambos Zardari shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Octaaf Van Acht and just under the crossbar into goal. Charalambos Zardari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octaaf Van Acht having to interfere. If Jean Theunis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Thys Helsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geordy De Leger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Lou Vincke hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Charalambos Zardari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octaaf Van Acht was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Cederique Wigers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octaaf Van Acht having to interfere. Gert-Jan Van Leempoel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Vc Brye:s Geordy De Leger showed great skill when he stopped Frederic Verduijn:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charalambos Zardari in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octaaf Van Acht saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. Charalambos Zardari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Octaaf Van Acht made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Zardari came free, but Octaaf Van Acht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Thys Helsen. Jean Theunis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Vliegplein were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vc Brye for a fine match.
