The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harold Dheedene to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play Kickers United's Edgard Raymaekers was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Octavian Verhulst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Paal-Tervant's Manu Gyselinx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Florian Wortelers. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kickers United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
