Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dimitri Van Landewijck got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Sleepy Soldiers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serge De Ketelaere came free, but Brent-Jan Van Lancker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent-Jan Van Lancker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soren Rauvoe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Kenneth Bautmans got a free kick in the 6th minute. Brent-Jan Van Lancker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge De Ketelaere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brent-Jan Van Lancker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soren Rauvoe in the 14th minute of play. Sebastien Sterks charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastien Sterks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastien Sterks hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ronny vrolix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastien Sterks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Young Ostend United's Laurenz Hensmans got a free kick in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Serge De Ketelaere took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Brent-Jan Van Lancker to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 25 minutes, Pieter Van den Hoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sleepy Soldiers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter Van den Hoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastien Sterks was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Sebastien Sterks got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Serge De Ketelaere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brent-Jan Van Lancker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serge De Ketelaere in the 30th minute of the match. Brent-Jan Van Lancker was a little too slow when Serge De Ketelaere got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Terry Delen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Brent-Jan Van Lancker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soren Rauvoe in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Sleepy Soldiers FC got a freekick which was hit by Terry Delen. 42 minutes into the match, Luc Selleslags notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sleepy Soldiers FC's Brent-Jan Van Lancker. Brent-Jan Van Lancker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Serge De Ketelaere made a precise shot to the right of Brent-Jan Van Lancker. Sleepy Soldiers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luc Selleslags stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Luc Selleslags shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent-Jan Van Lancker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brent-Jan Van Lancker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luc Selleslags, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Soren Rauvoe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent-Jan Van Lancker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brent-Jan Van Lancker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serge De Ketelaere in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Serge De Ketelaere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Brent-Jan Van Lancker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brent-Jan Van Lancker came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Young Ostend United's Soren Rauvoe. But to his dismay, Soren Rauvoe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Brent-Jan Van Lancker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Claevers, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Soren Rauvoe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent-Jan Van Lancker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sleepy Soldiers FC's Dimitri Van Landewijck got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brent-Jan Van Lancker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge De Ketelaere in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Dimitri Van Landewijck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sleepy Soldiers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri Van Landewijck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pieter Van den Hoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ronny vrolix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Tommi Spoelberchs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Young Ostend United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sleepy Soldiers FC the free kick. Brent-Jan Van Lancker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Claevers, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Brent-Jan Van Lancker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Selleslags in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Young Ostend United had won after a very even match.
