In the 6th minute Ruben Van den Haute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gertjan Imberechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vriendenkring Wippelgem booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Van den Haute didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robben Moerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Feys, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Tjorven Decoster fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Beverpatrouille's protests and gave Tjorven Decoster a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the game, Ruben Van den Haute cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gertjan Imberechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vriendenkring Wippelgem getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Teun Hunaerts hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Ruben Van den Haute made a precise shot to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Van den Haute to strike the kick off in the second half. Gertjan Imberechts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruben Van den Haute showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Frederic Feys made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robben Moerman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andre Uijterhoven kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gertjan Imberechts was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Louis-Philippe Nijs. Frederic Feys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robben Moerman having to interfere. Gertjan Imberechts made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ruben Van den Haute sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th play minute Ruben Van den Haute came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gertjan Imberechts. 2-4. De Beverpatrouille's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
