Bruly's Mathias-Alexander De Block played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebbe Smet in the 8th minute of play. If Artur Van De Wijngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diederik Huijberechts kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Robbie Van Beylen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Van Linthaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Diederik Huijberechts got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Matthieu Van den Berge. When Luc Van Linthaut came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luc Van Linthaut couldn't finish the play. Robbie Van Beylen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Roelants in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Diederik Huijberechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robbie Van Beylen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luc Van Linthaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias-Alexander De Block didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diederik Huijberechts went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Robbie Van Beylen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Van Linthaut in the 38th minute of play. Mathias-Alexander De Block didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilliam Roelandts went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Limburg United's Robbie Van Beylen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Van Linthaut in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilliam Roelandts to make the kick off. Artur Van De Wijngaert's late challenge caught a Bruly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Van De Wijngaert helped the player get up and apologised. Dominik Claessens charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Claessens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Artur Van De Wijngaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathias-Alexander De Block showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilliam Roelandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Luc Van Linthaut fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robbie Van Beylen, passed just outside the right post. In the 65th minute, Limburg United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matthieu Van den Berge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mathias-Alexander De Block stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilliam Roelandts's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Luc Van Linthaut in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robbie Van Beylen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luc Van Linthaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Van Beylen having to interfere. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Luc Van Linthaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robbie Van Beylen. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbie Van Beylen should have stopped the shot. Bruly's Luc Van Linthaut got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dominik Claessens hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathias-Alexander De Block showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Niki Roelants came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niki Roelants couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes of play, Bruly's Luc Van Linthaut made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robbie Van Beylen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mathias-Alexander De Block showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilliam Roelandts in the 96th minute of the match. Bruly's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
