Vincent Van der Vorst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Adolphe Van Goethem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolphe Van Goethem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Van Boeckost in the 7th minute of the match. When Matthis Langendonck fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ad Fundum's protests and gave Matthis Langendonck a yellow card for diving instead. Matthis Langendonck kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Van den Wyngaert. Vincent Van der Vorst in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolphe Van Goethem, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 19th minute, Vincent Van der Vorst fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roland Weets's late challenge caught a FC Klavertje Vier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Weets helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ad Fundum getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roland Weets hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Adolphe Van Goethem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Van Beersel. Karl Schautens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Weets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Vincent Van der Vorst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adolphe Van Goethem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Joel Van Beersel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ad Fundum's Adolphe Van Goethem. Adolphe Van Goethem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, FC Klavertje Vier's Floris Laureys got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Charles-Antoine Hustinx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ad Fundum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles-Antoine Hustinx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

In the 58th minute, Vincent Van der Vorst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolphe Van Goethem was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Van Beersel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Roland Weets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Schautens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Charles-Antoine Hustinx fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ad Fundum's protests and gave Charles-Antoine Hustinx a yellow card for diving instead. Charles-Antoine Hustinx kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Adolphe Van Goethem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Van der Vorst in the 78th minute of the match. During the 80th minute of the match Matthis Langendonck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matthis Langendonck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 81 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Matthis Langendonck. Ad Fundum's Adolphe Van Goethem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Van Boeckost in the 82nd minute of play. Roland Weets was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 88 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Van Beersel came free, but Adolphe Van Goethem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolphe Van Goethem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Van Beersel in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the FC Klavertje Vier players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
