Matthis Langendonck scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wayne Engelboorgs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 minutes Racing Matinette's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Willy Descamps who took care of the corner kick. Willy Descamps made a great header on Ad Fundum's corner, it was just that Racing Matinette's Wayne Engelboorgs managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 14th match minute, Racing Matinette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bert Reijers to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Callens came free, but Wayne Engelboorgs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Matthis Langendonck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ad Fundum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthis Langendonck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Roel Daems hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Dean Callens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dean Callens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthis Langendonck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wayne Engelboorgs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Steffen Van den Wyngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wayne Engelboorgs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Simon Deville kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Waut Pastijns kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Dean Callens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Wayne Engelboorgs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan-Simon Deville kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ad Fundum's zone, Tommy De Swert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolphe Van Goethem came out of the goal and Tommy De Swert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waut Pastijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorne Mesmakers hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Ad Fundum got a freekick which was hit by Hector Leroy. After having played for 85 minutes, Waut Pastijns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Matinette's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waut Pastijns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Adolphe Van Goethem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ad Fundum had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
