Robby Klopterop made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Manuel Debecker sent off a good shot on target. After 25 minutes, Koen Cappelsmans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lopidato FC and the FC Draconia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Koen Cappelsmans hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Switten in the 28th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Mike Van Hooveldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hubert de Reyck fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lopidato FC's protests and gave Hubert de Reyck a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Cornelis Van De Ven got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Cornelis Van De Ven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Ceulemans in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robby Klopterop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrad Switten made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Etienne Dekkers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lopidato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etienne Dekkers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Conrad Switten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lopidato FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrad Switten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Samuel Pancken hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Kempeneers in the 76th minute of play forced Lopidato FC's goalkeeper Robby Klopterop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Manuel Debecker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robby Klopterop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robby Klopterop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Kempeneers in the 80th minute of the match. Lopidato FC's Robby Klopterop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Kempeneers in the 80th minute of play. Luukas Dirckx kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Conrad Switten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lopidato FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Draconia the free kick.
