The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Cylon got a freekick which was hit by 傅志骏. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龙钢超 in the 7th minute of play forced 东方远大队's goalkeeper 楚川泉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Cylon's 龙钢超 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 楚川泉 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 楚川泉 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姚广邦 in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in 东方远大队's zone, 龙钢超 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 楚川泉 came out of the goal and 龙钢超 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 龙钢超 scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 楚川泉, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from 莫义林 in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 东方远大队's 汪翔军. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 龙钢超 in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 楚川泉 saved 东方远大队 from getting behind. 龙钢超 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 东方远大队's 楚川泉 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龙钢超 in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes 东方远大队 got a freekick which was hit by 汪翔军. After a rather tough play, 东方远大队's 汪翔军 got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, 龙钢超 made a precise shot to the right of 楚川泉. 东方远大队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when 孔悦鹰 made the kick off in the second half. 尹桑文 came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 楚川泉 could save by the left post. In the 52nd minute, Cylon's 龙钢超 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After having played for 55 minutes, 姚广邦 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cylon's supporters crossed their fingers, but 姚广邦 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the 东方远大队 defense, 龙钢超 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 楚川泉. The 东方远大队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 楚川泉 should have stopped the shot. Cylon made a substitution. 许克沙 replaced 尹桑文. Cylon made a substitution. 叶建超 replaced 傅志骏. Cylon made a substitution. 庄志政 replaced 庞桦景. After some careless play in the 东方远大队 defense, 姚广邦 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 楚川泉. When the match was over Cylon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 东方远大队 throughout the match.
