Hermanö Oilers's Kenneth Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Mager in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Hogans Heroes getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Karl Felin hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Peter Bank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Hogans Heroes got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Sandell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Bank in the 17th minute of play forced Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Kristian Stålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hogans Heroes were furious when Karl Felin was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 21st minute, Karl Felin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes, Arne Bryngelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermanö Oilers and the Hogans Heroes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Arne Bryngelsson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Hogans Heroes getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Åberg in the 28th minute of play forced Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Kristian Stålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hogans Heroes's Tord Nilsson got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Sune Åberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kristian Stålberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Billock to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Bank was the one to do the kick off. If Marcus Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Marcus Haglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hogans Heroes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Haglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristian Stålberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Lucas Andreasson sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes, Nils-Åke Ahlbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hogans Heroes and the Hermanö Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hogans Heroes's Nils-Åke Ahlbom got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Bank in the 60th minute of play forced Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Kristian Stålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Bank in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Hogans Heroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Söderqwist to maneuver through the defense. Peter Bank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Kristian Stålberg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermanö Oilers's Peter Bank slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Stålberg. That made the score 0-4 after 90 minutes of play. Arne Bryngelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Andreasson during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Andreasson. The Hermanö Oilers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
