Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pauliström's Karl-Johan Åkerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pauliström from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes into the game, Ludwig Häger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Karl-Johan Åkerström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johan Larsson charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johan Larsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johan Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Thomas Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes of play, Pauliström's Ivar Browall made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Stålberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Apelquist during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Apelquist to maneuver through the defense.
