Gert Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Billing in the 4th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Bahrtys Talanger's Nils-Erik Vik made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Felin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bengt Felin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, AIF's Bengt Felin got control of the ball when Nils-Erik Vik tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Nils-Erik Vik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt Felin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bahrtys Talanger's Nils-Erik Vik got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Erik Vik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bengt Felin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Felin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Spets in the 38th minute. Gert Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Billing in the 40th minute of the match. Kjell Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Arne Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahrtys Talanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Lind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Spets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Erik Vik to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Nils-Erik Vik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahrtys Talanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Erik Vik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils-Erik Vik might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Felin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils-Erik Vik ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fabian Kråk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Barck's late challenge caught a AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Barck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Bahrtys Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Barck to maneuver through the defense. Bahrtys Talanger's Gert Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Kråk in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, AIF's Fabian Kråk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gert Blomqvist. Gert Blomqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After some careless play in the Bahrtys Talanger defense, Bengt-Arne Stabbe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gert Blomqvist. The Bahrtys Talanger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gert Blomqvist should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Fabian Kråk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gert Blomqvist, 2-4. Bengt Felin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Vik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90thth minute of the game Nils-Erik Vik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIF's Bengt Felin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt Felin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nils-Erik Vik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahrtys Talanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Erik Vik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Felin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when AIF's Fabian Kråk in the 96th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gert Blomqvist was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bahrtys Talanger through an amazing save.
