Christian Vinström kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Oscar Bäcklin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ultra Chaos Stockholm's Bror Degen. Bror Degen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ultra Chaos Stockholm's zone, Emanuel Hökkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bror Degen came out of the goal and Emanuel Hökkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute of the match Jimmy Linquist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bror Degen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Karl-Erik Fransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bror Degen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Ultra Chaos Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Max Håning came free, but Bror Degen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ultra Chaos Stockholm's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jimmy Linquist was slow to take the kick. During this time Oldham Athletic's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jimmy Linquist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ultra Chaos Stockholm's Bror Degen did a great save. Karl-Erik Fransson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Bror Degen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Oldham Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Bäcklin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ultra Chaos Stockholm getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wictor Skoglund hit a great ball. Oldham Athletic's Karl-Erik Fransson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 70th minute, Henrik Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Einar Kellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bror Degen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Bure in the 85th minute of play. When the match was over Oldham Athletic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ultra Chaos Stockholm throughout the match.
