The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Magnus Bengtsson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Käka Puck BK's Gösta Carlsson. Gösta Carlsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Sundström charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Sundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Daniel Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredric Hansson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Käka Puck BK's Casper Söderström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulf Gadd. Ulf Gadd yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. A hard shot 15 in the game by Roy Ström from a close distance when the talented Ulf Gadd managed to make a qualified save. Frogner's players were relieved. Frogner's Ulf Gadd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Frogner from getting a goal against them. With a left leg Ulf Gadd saved Frogner from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Frogner's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Odin came free, but Ulf Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Odin in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Gadd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frogner were furious when Fredric Hansson was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Frogner:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Käka Puck BK:s goal. Peter Lövgren shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Emanuel Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frogner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Tholsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Allan Odin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ulf Gadd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th match minute, Frogner was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Haglund to maneuver through the defense. Peter Lövgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulf Gadd. Frogner's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Magnus Bengtsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gösta Carlsson. Käka Puck BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magnus Bengtsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Magnus Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Allan Odin came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Käka Puck BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Odin couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Frogner defense, Roy Ström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Gadd. The Frogner fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Gadd should have stopped the shot. After 74 minutes, Ulrik Wållander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frogner and the Käka Puck BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 minutes of play, Frogner's Magnus Bengtsson made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Carlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulf Gadd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Odin in the 88th minute of play. Casper Söderström kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ulf Gadd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Söderström in the 91st minute of the match. Ulf Gadd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Käka Puck BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
