Vilhelm Jönsätt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Lingren, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Tord Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Gullesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Vilhelm Jönsätt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Utfal in the 8th minute of play. Ulf Lång was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 11 minutes into the match, Ulf Lång dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vilhelm Jönsätt, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Backlund during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, William Backlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Vilhelm Jönsätt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Skoglund. The supporters of FC Bodil United booed when Fårdala FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Brodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conny Gullesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Lindberg in the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Anders Hägg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vilhelm Jönsätt. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Fårdala FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Lars-Erik Utfal scored to the left of an out of position Vilhelm Jönsätt, making the score, 3-0. Fårdala FF's Vilhelm Jönsätt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Fårdala FF from getting a goal against them. Vilhelm Jönsätt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Gert Friberger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vilhelm Jönsätt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Bodil United's Gert Friberger managed to work through Fårdala FF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gert Friberger dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With an all-out effort, FC Bodil United's Vilhelm Jönsätt threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ulf Lång, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 42nd match minute, Fårdala FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Brodin to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Jönsätt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Lång in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Ove Holmberg was the one to do the kick off. FC Bodil United's Conny Gullesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Bodil United from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Skoglund in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Jönsätt saved Fårdala FF from getting behind. With a little luck, FC Bodil United's Conny Gullesson got control of the ball when Karl-Ove Holmberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Ödmann's late challenge caught a FC Bodil United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Ödmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Mattias Ödmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Lars-Erik Utfal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Jönsätt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Åberg in the 71st minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Conny Gullesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Lång took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Jönsätt. Vilhelm Jönsätt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, Fredrik Skoglund notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Fårdala FF's Vilhelm Jönsätt. Vilhelm Jönsätt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the game, John Lindberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fårdala FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bodil United the free kick. After 80 played minutes Fårdala FF got a freekick which was hit by John Lindberg. Fårdala FF's Vilhelm Jönsätt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Lång in the 82nd minute of play. Conny Gullesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Ödmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Conny Gullesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Ove Holmberg in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the FC Bodil United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
