A collision led to Puskas United getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Philip Säfström hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Philip Säfström made a precise shot to the right of Björn Rudqvist. Slipmaskinerna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Rolf Karlsson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slipmaskinerna's protests and gave Rolf Karlsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Slipmaskinerna got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Karlsson. A collision led to Slipmaskinerna getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Konrad Valström hit a great ball. Erik Söder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Philip Säfström made a precise shot to the right of Björn Rudqvist. Slipmaskinerna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Björn Rudqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Söder, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Philip Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Puskas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Spetz to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Puskas United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konrad Valström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Puskas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Haström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Asserlindh in the 55th minute of play forced Puskas United's goalkeeper Viggo Britz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Conny Haström fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puskas United's protests and gave Conny Haström a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Puskas United got a freekick which was hit by Conny Haström. Roy Spetz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. If Robert Stenkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Puskas United's Viggo Britz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Valström in the 67th minute of play. Viggo Britz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Asserlindh in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Slipmaskinerna booed when Puskas United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Oskar Svanér got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Puskas United booed when Slipmaskinerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Puskas United got a freekick which was hit by Philip Säfström. After having played for 84 minutes, Philip Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puskas United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Säfström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Puskas United defense, Oskar Svanér kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viggo Britz. The Puskas United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viggo Britz should have stopped the shot. Robin Asserlindh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
