Puskas United's Viggo Britz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Brask in the 25th minute of play. AC United's Eskil Danielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save AC United from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Puskas United's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Wallengren came free, but Viggo Britz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Söder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Danielsson having to interfere. Erik Söder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eskil Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Otto Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Britz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Conny Haström sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eskil Danielsson threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Conny Haström this time. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Conny Haström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eskil Danielsson. AC United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Otto Brask hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Söder came free, but Eskil Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Conny Haström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC United's Eskil Danielsson did a great save. Puskas United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fritz Mattsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Stig-Åke Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Britz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fritz Mattsson in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
