Per Odén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Hallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Beneth came free, but Tage Rang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Jens-Ola Beneth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sparsör BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ola Beneth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villiam Beckeman's late challenge caught a Nykvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Villiam Beckeman helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Fredriksson during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Tomas Bohlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jens-Ola Beneth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Hallgren was the one to do the kick off. Jens-Ola Beneth kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tage Rang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Beneth, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sigvard Juhlin's late challenge caught a Sparsör BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvard Juhlin helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Juhlin. In the 63rd minute, Henrik Hallgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per Odén was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Villiam Beckeman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ragnar Ekeberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Per Odén when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jens-Ola Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Rang having to interfere. If Vilhelm Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jens-Ola Beneth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tage Rang was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 84 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Ekeberg. Sparsör BF's Per Odén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Hallgren in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nykvarn players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sparsör BF.
