Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göran Hammarberg in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Odén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carl Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Odén having to interfere. When Jens-Ola Beneth fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sparsör BF's protests and gave Jens-Ola Beneth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Sparsör BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Beneth to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Ivarsson's late challenge caught a The Mongols's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Sparsör BF got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Ivarsson. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Falkrans made a kick off. Gunnar Fristedt charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of The Mongols booed when Sparsör BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Vennerkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vilhelm Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mongols played a much better game than Sparsör BF and deserved their victory. The Sparsör BF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
