The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Stål showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Busk in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Stål prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Arne Lång made a kick off. In the 55th minute Karl-Erik Billvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Stål saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Månsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Strandberg during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Busk got free with Emil Stål in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Roger Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78thth minute of the game Per-Arne Lång who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wargön's Jörgen Olofsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Stefan Bergdal in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by spikarna's Patrik Berggren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Busk in the 81st minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Emil Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Olofsson having to interfere. When the match was over Wargön could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than spikarna throughout the match.
