Magnus Lekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnny Joensson's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Bo Bengtsson made a precise shot to the right of Valdemar Granberg. Honung's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Magnus Lekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Joensson in the 28th minute of the match. With 30 minutes on the clock, Torsten Damm commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magnus Lekberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Boris Lundqvist made the kick off in the second half. Boris Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Valdemar Granberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Johnny Joensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Manfred Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Magnus Lekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Football Club Kekke's Niklas Tingelholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Granberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
