An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Flinck in the 2nd minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Bennvar Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennvar Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennvar Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Hellström in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Real Södertälje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Modig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Fristedt's late challenge caught a Real Södertälje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Fristedt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Johan Fristedt got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Örnberg in the 11th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Rikard Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rikard Lekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Örnberg in the 13th minute of play. Rikard Lekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Örnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Rikard Lekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Siggman in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Johan Fristedt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Södertälje's Bennvar Buffon. Bennvar Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Real Södertälje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Forssberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morgan Flinck, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bennvar Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Fristedt in the 22nd minute of play. Sundborn IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Edwin Siggman scored to the left of an out of position Rikard Lekberg, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Tunström in the 30th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Rikard Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rikard Lekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Södertälje's Edwin Siggman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rikard Lekberg. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Örnberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rikard Lekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Moberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sundborn IF's Rikard Lekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Örnberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute Håkan Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennvar Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Flinck took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bennvar Buffon. Bennvar Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 65 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Bennvar Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Fristedt. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Pontus Ahlroht hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Torbjörn Bjurström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brian Örnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rikard Lekberg came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Södertälje's Brian Örnberg. But to his dismay, Brian Örnberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 81 minutes into the match, Brian Örnberg notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Sundborn IF's Rikard Lekberg. Rikard Lekberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the game, Edwin Siggman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Rikard Lekberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sundborn IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
