After having played for 6 minutes, David Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NORDLAND's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Lundqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lukas Matsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Morgan Flinck's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Rikard Lekberg was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Håkan Wiklund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Wiklund really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Gabriel Klintæus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Lekberg came out of the goal and Gabriel Klintæus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Aron Bållström. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC NORDLAND's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Morgan Flinck was slow to take the kick. During this time Sundborn IF's players had a chance to rest. After 26 minutes, David Lundqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NORDLAND and the Sundborn IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Gabriel Klintæus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Fristedt in the 33rd minute of play forced FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Lukas Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Bjurström's late challenge caught a FC NORDLAND's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Bjurström helped the player get up and apologised. Torbjörn Bjurström hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, David Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lukas Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Fristedt in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Klintæus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gabriel Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 51 minutes, Gabriel Klintæus made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sundborn IF's Rikard Lekberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Klintæus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FC NORDLAND defense, Johan Fristedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukas Matsson. The FC NORDLAND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukas Matsson should have stopped the shot. Kjell Törnkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Ola Grep. In the 62nd minute, Malcolm Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lukas Matsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Hellström in the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC NORDLAND's Lukas Matsson got control of the ball when Jarl Emander tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bengt-Rune Västlund fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC NORDLAND's protests and gave Bengt-Rune Västlund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, FC NORDLAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Västlund to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC NORDLAND's zone, Stefan Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukas Matsson came out of the goal and Stefan Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Kjell Vollander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikard Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Jarl Emander got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Vollander came free, but Rikard Lekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Emander. FC NORDLAND's Lukas Matsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC NORDLAND from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Klintæus came free, but Rikard Lekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC NORDLAND had won after a very even match.
