After 2 minutes, Sören Stolpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackjacks and the Djurgården IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blackjacks's goalkeeper Lucas Eriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egon Qvalfeldt lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Blackjacks booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Qvalfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmie Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Blomkvist in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Blackjacks's Gert Kaxe got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Andreas Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Rune Odeen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jimmie Tinglöv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Andréas Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmie Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Allbom in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Elias Blomkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmie Tinglöv was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jimmie Tinglöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blackjacks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edvin Walroth was slow to take the kick. During this time Djurgården IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Edvin Walroth almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blackjacks's Lucas Eriksson did a great save. The Djurgården IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Blackjacks were winning 0-2.

A collision led to Blackjacks getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gert Kaxe hit a great ball. Blackjacks's Elias Blomkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmie Tinglöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Kaxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Jimmie Tinglöv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Blomkvist. Ian Hägglund kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Marcus Engström's late challenge caught a Djurgården IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Engström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Blackjacks getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marcus Engström hit a great ball. Jimmie Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Samuelsson in the 85th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Marcus Engström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jimmie Tinglöv quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stig-Arne Dalström hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Walter Lindkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Lindkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walter Lindkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Blackjacks left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Djurgården IF.
