Rune Odeen hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Egon Qvalfeldt's late challenge caught a Blackjacks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egon Qvalfeldt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Egon Qvalfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andréas Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andréas Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Blackjacks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Fransson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Blomkvist got free with Dan Palmquist in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Djurgården IF's Dan Palmquist got control of the ball when Elias Blomkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Elias Blomkvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dan Palmquist to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter Lindkvist to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Elias Blomkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blackjacks's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Blomkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the game, Walter Lindkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lucas Eriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Blomkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Kaxe came free, but Dan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
