In the 8th minute Åke Offendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludvig Godholm in the 10th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Christian Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Björk in the 12th minute of play forced Skyborn FC's goalkeeper Jim Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Hans Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skyborn FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 35th minute Åke Offendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Roger Glanselius notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Skyborn FC's Jim Vall. Jim Vall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sigvard Björk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Offendahl in the 46th minute of the match. Karl-Magnus Anselius kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludvig Godholm was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Skyborn FC's zone, Sigvard Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Vall came out of the goal and Sigvard Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Carlsson in the 65th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Karl-Magnus Anselius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skyborn FC and the FC Blueskatterna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skyborn FC's Karl-Magnus Anselius got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Ludvig Godholm notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Blueskatterna's Christian Drewitz. Christian Drewitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC Blueskatterna booed when Skyborn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Östen Sellberg charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Östen Sellberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Carlsson in the 94th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Christian Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Skyborn FC were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Blueskatterna for much of the match.
