The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Henrik Valler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolverhampton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koffe Boys the free kick. Koffe Boys's Ola Lundqvist was substituted for Marcus Bergendahl. In the 8th match minute, Wolverhampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Valler to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm Knutsson made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ola Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. Rune Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Johan Alkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Walroth. Koffe Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Alkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Malcolm Knutsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Georg Vallengren. After a defensive mix-up in Koffe Boys's zone, Carl Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Walroth came out of the goal and Carl Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Torbjörn Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Johan Alkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koffe Boys's Rune Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Bengtsson in the 29th minute of play. Rune Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Bengtsson in the 30th minute of play. If Carl Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Knutsson made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ola Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Carl Bengtsson made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Lundqvist came free, but Malcolm Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Bengtsson in the 52nd minute of play. Johan Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ola Lundqvist scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Knutsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malcolm Knutsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Josefsson in the 72nd minute of the match. Rune Walroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Koffe Boys's Rune Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Alkvist in the 74th minute of play. When Henrik Valler was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Henrik Valler kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Johan Alkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Johnsson scored 1-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Walroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malcolm Knutsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Lundqvist went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Johan Alkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
