Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stig-Arne Ödman started the match with the kick off. When Nils Bäckström came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Al-Slottshöjden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Bäckström couldn't finish the play. Valdemar Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Nils Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Stålman came free, but Valdemar Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Bergstedt in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Jönsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils Bäckström hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Anthon Torsberg struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Valdemar Jönsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Slottshöjden. Nils Bäckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Jönsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Stig-Arne Ödman got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Al-Slottshöjden's Martin Bergstedt in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Mayonnaise's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Walter Mårtensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Mayonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Slottshöjden the free kick. After 37 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Walter Mårtensson. After recieving a nice pass, Al-Slottshöjden's Ingvar Berg tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of AC Mayonnaise booed when Al-Slottshöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Bergstedt's late challenge caught a AC Mayonnaise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Bergstedt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Al-Slottshöjden getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Martin Bergstedt hit a great ball. Valdemar Jönsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Bergstedt in the 59th minute. Nils Bäckström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Al-Slottshöjden's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Martin Bergstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Jönsson having to make a save. Thomas Örtlund hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Valdemar Jönsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Bergstedt in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Bror Stålman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdemar Jönsson. Bror Stålman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Bror Stålman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Bäckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Jönsson having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Al-Slottshöjden had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
