After a rather tough play, Kurdistan CF's Frank Björkdahl got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Per-Olof Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Simonsson in the 31st minute of play. Folke Bolin made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Morgan Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Morgan Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurdistan CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Bolin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to A2 IF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Peder Thedin hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Folke Bolin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, A2 IF's Folke Bolin got control of the ball when Morgan Isaksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morgan Isaksson to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Isaksson in the 54th minute of play forced A2 IF's goalkeeper Folke Bolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes A2 IF got a freekick which was hit by Peder Thedin. Kennet Skålberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Folke Bolin. A2 IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Isaksson in the 74th minute of play forced A2 IF's goalkeeper Folke Bolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Otto Fransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Olof Mogren. Kurdistan CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Fransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 83rd minute, Sten Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurdistan CF's Frank Björkdahl couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for A2 IF. Folke Bolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Kurdistan CF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Mogren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Berglund. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morgan Isaksson in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Bolin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kurdistan CF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ingvar Ahlin hit a great ball. Frank Björkdahl got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Frank Björkdahl hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. A2 IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
