Andréas Lustig scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Ove Björck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 14 minutes into the match, Herman Falkrantz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Gustavsson. Åsbro Flåsegutter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herman Falkrantz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Björn Hellgren hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Andréas Lustig broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Walter Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin. If Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Sven-Ove Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arne Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Wennerlund in the 41st minute of play forced Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper John Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sven-Ove Berggren in the 43rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Walter Gustavsson kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Andréas Lustig hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Björn Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. John Brandt was a little too slow when Patric Molander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 3-1. 61 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Berggren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Gustavsson. Åsbro Flåsegutter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Ove Berggren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Kurt-Jürgen Hamrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Andréas Lustig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Gustavsson was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. If Marko Östensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 76th minute of the match Erik-Jan Edman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erik-Jan Edman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Erik-Jan Edman got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Tage Wennerlund fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of John Brandt, passed just outside the right post. Walter Gustavsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herman Falkrantz's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Tage Wennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Åsbro Flåsegutter players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Elmtaryd Agunnaryd.
