Rune Sander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Johnny Broman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 17th minute, Mosjö Sportklubb's Thomas Vallgren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thomas Vallgren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mosjö Sportklubb protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thomas Vallgren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 17 played minutes Mosjö Sportklubb got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Vallgren. After having played for 18 minutes, Maximilian Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åhus Absolut F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Simon Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Åhus Absolut F.C defense, Magne Nyman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Källberg. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Källberg should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Classon came free, but Douglas Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marc Arvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosjö Sportklubb's protests and gave Marc Arvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Vase in the 32nd minute of play forced Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Rune Sander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's Douglas Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Rosendal in the 37th minute of play. Douglas Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Classon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Nyman during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Magne Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when Mosjö Sportklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Kjellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Nässén. Simon Rosendal's late challenge caught a Åhus Absolut F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Rosendal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mosjö Sportklubb's Stig-Arne Classon got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Stig-Arne Classon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Classon in the 61st minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Douglas Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Mosjö Sportklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Vase came free, but Rune Sander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Källberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Axelsson in the 73rd minute. When Dag Axelsson came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Mosjö Sportklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dag Axelsson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Ivar Larsfält got a free kick in the 78th minute. Stig-Arne Classon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Douglas Källberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 83 played minutes Mosjö Sportklubb got a freekick which was hit by Filiph Törnqvist. Rune Sander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Broman in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Åhus Absolut F.C's Douglas Källberg got control of the ball when Stig-Arne Classon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Simon Rosendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosjö Sportklubb's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Rosendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Simon Rosendal came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mosjö Sportklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Rosendal couldn't finish the play.
