An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Damm in the 2nd minute of play forced BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Charles Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Mockfjärd's Mathias Kilberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Fernström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute Mockfjärd were awarded a corner. Jörn Berg went to the cornerflag to take it. Jörn Berg made a great header on Mockfjärd's corner, it was just that BV Borussia Hammarby's Charles Fernström managed to reach the ball for a save. Kenneth Gullesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Alegren in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes BV Borussia Hammarby got a freekick which was hit by Allan Alegren. Charles Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Damm in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Hans Kjellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mathias Kilberg fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mockfjärd's protests and gave Mathias Kilberg a yellow card for diving instead. Mathias Kilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Allan Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Jörn Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, BV Borussia Hammarby's Arne Nyman got a free kick in the 28th minute. BV Borussia Hammarby's Charles Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Fogel in the 29th minute of play. After 34 played minutes Hans Kjellbom rounded Mockfjärd's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Allan Alegrens short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Kenneth Gullesson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Charles Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Kurt Ennegren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BV Borussia Hammarby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mockfjärd the free kick. A collision led to BV Borussia Hammarby getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Kurt Ennegren hit a great ball. Charles Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Damm in the 44th minute of the match. Arne Nyman charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Nyman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BV Borussia Hammarby's Arne Nyman got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jonas Fogel's late challenge caught a BV Borussia Hammarby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Fogel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mockfjärd getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jonas Fogel hit a great ball. Mockfjärd's Kenneth Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Kjellbom in the 55th minute of play. Hans Kjellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Kjellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kenneth Gullesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Damm came free, but Charles Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Fernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Fogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Allan Alegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of BV Borussia Hammarby booed when Mockfjärd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Kilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Jarl Bruse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenneth Gullesson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hans Kjellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Gullesson having to interfere. Hans Kjellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Charles Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Fogel in the 78th minute of the match. Philip Bremming struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Kenneth Gullesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BV Borussia Hammarby. Mockfjärd's Kasper Bäck managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kurt Ennegren in the 84 minute of the game. Mockfjärd's Kenneth Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Alegren in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Gregersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BV Borussia Hammarby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mockfjärd the free kick. Mockfjärd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
