The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Surahammar's Nicklas Hjortberg in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Supreme FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 4th match minute, Supreme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Ljungberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Conny Mårtensson put in a rough tackle. In the 18th minute, one of Supreme FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Supreme FC. Supreme FC:s Sven-Arne Persson showed great skill when he stopped Simon Mattsson:s penalty. 31 minutes into the game, Supreme FC's Christer Matsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Ambjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Björn Sjö in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Ambjörnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Supreme FC booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Surahammar's zone, Frank Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Ambjörnsson came out of the goal and Frank Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Petter Emander hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Jon Stenquist got a free kick in the 54th minute. Arvid Gulliksson charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvid Gulliksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Supreme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Gulliksson to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Calle Beck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Arne Persson. Calle Beck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. With a little luck, Supreme FC's Sven-Arne Persson got control of the ball when Per Rudberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Supreme FC's Sven-Arne Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Hjortberg in the 75th minute of play. Supreme FC made a substitution. Nils-Emil Berg replaced Christer Matsson. Arne Ambjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Strömberg went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the game, one of Surahammar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Surahammar:s Arne Ambjörnsson showed great skill when he stopped Björn Sjö:s penalty. When Björn Sjö came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Supreme FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Sjö couldn't finish the play. Frank Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Ambjörnsson having to interfere. Supreme FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
