With a little luck, SSC Ambrosini's Ove Vassenius got control of the ball when Johan Hedlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Johan Hedlund made a precise shot to the right of Ove Vassenius. SSC Ambrosini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. SSC Ambrosini's Ove Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SSC Ambrosini from getting a goal against them. When Johan Hedlund came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Malmö White Knights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Hedlund couldn't finish the play. Ove Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Björck in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Ingvar Sillén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Ove Vassenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Hedlund. A sloppy throw-in by Rutger Öberg in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Malmö White Knights's Adam Wik. 34 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Ove Vassenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Hedlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Sillén in the 38th minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Petter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Sillén in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ove Vassenius came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Malmö White Knights's Johan Hedlund. But to his dismay, Johan Hedlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingvar Sillén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Herman Björck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ove Vassenius was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Marcus Ambrosini struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Petter Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Ambrosini. Johan Hedlund scored 4-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Vassenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ove Vassenius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johan Hedlund's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herman Björck during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Herman Björck hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Sillén got free with Petter Fransson in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, SSC Ambrosini's Petter Fransson threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcus Ambrosini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 76 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Hedlund came free, but Ove Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Hedlund in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Vassenius saved SSC Ambrosini from getting behind. Petter Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Bäckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Johan Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Hedlund came free, but Ove Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Fransson made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ingvar Sillén sent off a good shot on target. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Malmö White Knights were victorious despite being under pressure from SSC Ambrosini for much of the match.
