Vincent Alfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. IFK Kik's Kennet Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Bergkvist in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Kruuse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Petter Fransson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Egon Åkerström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petter Fransson. The goal made the score 2-0. Vincent Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Åhlberg having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vincent Alfors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennet Åhlberg was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Åkerström in the 30th minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Petter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malmö White Knights were furious when Ove Wallin was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ove Wallin hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Rikard Wik managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After 40 played minutes IFK Kik got a freekick which was hit by Stig Vase. Rutger Delin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Åke Kruuse was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Melker Wenerdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Nils-Åke Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Staffan Wallin hit a great ball. Jörgen Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egon Åkerström in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petter Fransson saved Malmö White Knights from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Kruuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petter Fransson. Malmö White Knights's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Åke Kruuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Myr in the 76th minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Petter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rutger Delin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Patrik Myr sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Malmö White Knights's Petter Fransson didn't even have to move. With 81 minutes on the clock, Rikard Wik commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 81st minute, Rikard Wik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Alfors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Birger Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Malmö White Knights's Vincent Alfors got a free kick in the 89th minute. Nils-Åke Kruuse hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Vincent Alfors succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 94th playminute. When the referee ended the match the IFK Kik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
