Svante Beckström kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Forsman came free, but Hannes Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dag Harman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Wiberg in the 6th minute of the match. Segelbut IF U21's Dag Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Frisk in the 8th minute of play. Hannes Johansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Martinsson in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Sävedalen's Rudolf Lange seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rudolf Lange the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sävedalen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rudolf Lange had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rudolf Lange hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes, Vilhelm Martinsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segelbut IF U21 and the Sävedalen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hannes Johansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Martinsson in the 27th minute. Dag Harman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Jan-Erik Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Hedbom hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Segelbut IF U21's Hjalmar Ström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hannes Johansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goalkeeper Hannes Johansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Ström. Hannes Johansson made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Vilhelm Martinsson sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hjalmar Ström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Segelbut IF U21's Vilhelm Martinsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hannes Johansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sävedalen's Hannes Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Dalgren in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Segelbut IF U21 booed when Sävedalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Bokelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Segelbut IF U21 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hjalmar Ström hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Viktor Wiberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Johansson came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Segelbut IF U21's Lennart Lundström. But to his dismay, Lennart Lundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 78 played minutes Segelbut IF U21 got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Forsman. In the 80th match minute, Segelbut IF U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Wiberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dag Harman came out and tried to block the shot, but Viktor Wiberg slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 82nd minute. Dag Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Håkansson in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Larsson in the 89th minute of play forced Segelbut IF U21's goalkeeper Dag Harman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Christian Walroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Ström in the 92nd minute of play. Sävedalen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
