In the 2nd minute, Jens-Ove Käcker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Enström in the 6th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Sandström came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Kind of Blue's Allan Vinström. But to his dismay, Allan Vinström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Hampus Wickander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balla Bollar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kind of Blue the free kick. Jonas Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Käcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hampus Wickander was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. Bernt Pil kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Freddie Söderlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Hjälm in the 31st minute. Tomas Hjälm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Kind of Blue defense, Karl-Johan Stephansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddie Söderlund. The Kind of Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddie Söderlund should have stopped the shot. Tomas Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Söderlund having to interfere. Balla Bollar's Jonas Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Vinström in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Mellin to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Hjälm was the one to do the kick off. Jonas Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Käcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fredric Botvidsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Sandström came out and tried to block the shot, but Fredric Botvidsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 56th minute. After 60 played minutes Balla Bollar got a freekick which was hit by Jim Fernström. Allan Vinström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonas Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Sandström was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Allan Vinström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Allan Vinström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After 70 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Käcker. The supporters of Balla Bollar booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Mellin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Hjälm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddie Söderlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Ove Käcker got free with Jonas Sandström in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Balla Bollar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Vinström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Jonas Sandström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Allan Vinströms short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Jonas Sandström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kind of Blue's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
