Stig-Arne Lange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Hökqvist in the 20th minute of the match. Stig-Arne Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Lindman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Bengt-Arne Biörkman got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Blåvitt's Georg Lindman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Lange made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 42nd minute of the match, Axel Törnkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alf Gadd was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georg Lindman to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Arne Biörkman hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Marc Hökqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig-Arne Lange came out and tried to block the shot, but Marc Hökqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Stig-Arne Lange got control of the ball when Georg Lindman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Biörkman to maneuver through the defense. Blåvitt's Marc Hökqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc Hökqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Lange having to interfere. The supporters of Blåvitt booed when Guldsmedshyttan IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Frisk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Lindman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Stig-Arne Lange made a huge save. Marc Hökqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Stig-Arne Lange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Hökqvist in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Helge Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blåvitt played a much better game than Guldsmedshyttan IK and deserved their victory. The Guldsmedshyttan IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
