With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Åke Ekberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Balla Bollar's zone, Axel Törnkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Åke Ekberg came out of the goal and Axel Törnkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Åke Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Törnkvist in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Guldsmedshyttan IK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Gudmundsson came free, but Stig-Arne Lange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Balla Bollar were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 61stth minute of the game Axel Törnkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balla Bollar's Per-Åke Ekberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Arne Lange didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Ove Gudmundsson went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 74th match minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Törnkvist to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Enström in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig-Arne Lange saved Guldsmedshyttan IK from getting behind. When Karl-Ove Gudmundsson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Balla Bollar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Ove Gudmundsson couldn't finish the play. Viktor Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Balla Bollar played a much better game than Guldsmedshyttan IK and deserved their victory. The Guldsmedshyttan IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
