Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Allan Vinström made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Skark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes, Blåvitt's Ola Wallman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddie Söderlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blåvitt reached it. Alf Gadd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Vinström in the 11th minute. Kenny Vallgren kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Georg Lindman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Anders Mellin got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kind of Blue's zone, Marc Hökqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Söderlund came out of the goal and Marc Hökqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kind of Blue's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ola Wallman was slow to take the kick. During this time Blåvitt's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Conny Björnsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alf Gadd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Käcker in the 36th minute. If Fredric Botvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blåvitt's goalkeeper Alf Gadd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kenny Vallgren hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Alf Gadd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Vinström in the 40th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Hökqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Freddie Söderlund managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Blåvitt's Marc Hökqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Blåvitt getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Karl-Ove Skark hit a great ball. When Knut Blom came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Kind of Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Blom couldn't finish the play. Georg Lindman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee gave Kind of Blue a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Allan Vinström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blåvitt's Alf Gadd. 2-1. Alf Gadd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Vinström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Georg Lindman fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blåvitt's protests and gave Georg Lindman a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Knut Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alf Gadd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Käcker in the 85th minute of the match. Alf Gadd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Käcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blåvitt's zone, Anders Mellin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Gadd came out of the goal and Anders Mellin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alf Gadd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Allan Vinström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Gadd was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Jens-Ove Käcker struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Alf Gadd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kind of Blue. In the 99th minute, Allan Vinström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Gadd was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kind of Blue fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blåvitt had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
