Melchester Rovers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nytäppet Fc the free kick. The supporters of Nytäppet Fc booed when Melchester Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bokelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Joacim Bäcklin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Sjöberg. Nytäppet Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joacim Bäcklin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joacim Bäcklin in the 17th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Aaron Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Joacim Bäcklin came free, but Aaron Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Joacim Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes, Melchester Rovers's Rasmus Henriksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Sjöberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Melchester Rovers reached it. Kalle Barck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Hafström having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Josef Hafström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalle Barck. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Josef Hafström got control of the ball when Kalle Barck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Melchester Rovers's zone, Gottfrid Gernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Hafström came out of the goal and Gottfrid Gernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Nytäppet Fc were awarded a corner. Agne Engman went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Gottfrid Gernberg to score against Josef Hafström in Melchester Rovers's goal. 1-1 after 33 minutes. Nytäppet Fc's Aaron Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Bäcklin in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Nytäppet Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Albäck to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kalle Barck to make the kick off. Gottfrid Gernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Joacim Bäcklin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Nytäppet Fc's Aaron Sjöberg. Aaron Sjöberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gottfrid Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Melchester Rovers's Joacim Bäcklin. But to his dismay, Joacim Bäcklin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Melchester Rovers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
