Ulf Jakobsson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Rikard Helander sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes of play, DIF LEEDS BK's Viktor Biörnberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulf Jakobsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valla Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Michael Berg scored to the left of an out of position Ulf Jakobsson, making the score, 2-0. Verner Fredriksson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulf Jakobsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. A hard shot by Emanuel Alström from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Ulf Jakobsson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Ulf Jakobsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Berg in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Valla Fc's zone, Rikard Helander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulf Jakobsson came out of the goal and Rikard Helander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Wallmark in the 34th minute of play. DIF LEEDS BK's Verner Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Verner Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulf Jakobsson. Valla Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 43rd match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Michael Berg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson. Ulf Jakobsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Valla Fc were furious when John Ambjörnsson was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 55 minutes into the game, one of Valla Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Verner Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ulf Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Valla Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. In the 79th match minute, Valla Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Wallmark to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Ragnar Fernkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIF LEEDS BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valla Fc the free kick. In the 84th minute, Ragnar Fernkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Viktor Biörnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
