Bengt Rang hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in DIF LEEDS BK's zone, John Björkkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Hedman came out of the goal and John Björkkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes, Viktor Biörnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIF LEEDS BK and the Henley Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viktor Biörnberg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Rolf Simonsson took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Hedman. Oscar Hedman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Henley Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Helander came free, but Per Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Ingvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Henley Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When John Björkkvist came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Henley Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Björkkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Brian Ingvall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Hedman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Björkkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. DIF LEEDS BK's Oscar Hedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save DIF LEEDS BK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Bergström in the 55th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Oscar Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Ingvall kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Henley Utd booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Hedman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Elliot Mårtensson. A collision led to Henley Utd getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Brian Ingvall hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Emanuel Alström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per Spetz skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Hedman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Simonsson in the 82nd minute. Henley Utd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
