Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kim Ugla took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Rank 1 booed when Dexiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Jonny Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dexiators's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rank 1's Karl-Erik Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Aleberg in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Johansson in the 14th minute of play forced Dexiators's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Michel Vall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Karl-Erik Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonny Strömberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Erik Andersson having to make a save. Jonny Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Eric Paulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Vedholm having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Niclas Ek put in a rough tackle. In the 46th minute, one of Dexiators:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dexiators. Dexiators:s Sven-Edvin Vedholm showed great skill when he stopped Ingvar Hellström:s penalty. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Michel Vall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Paulin in the 61st minute of play forced Dexiators's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eric Paulin fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rank 1's protests and gave Eric Paulin a yellow card for diving instead. Fred Wikander's late challenge caught a Rank 1's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Wikander helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Fred Wikander. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Vall in the 72nd minute of play forced Rank 1's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bernt Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Michel Vall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Paulin came free, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Rank 1 got a freekick which was hit by Eric Paulin. 88 minutes into the game, Michel Vall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Karl-Erik Andersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Kim Ugla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Edvin Vedholm came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rank 1's Kim Ugla. But to his dismay, Kim Ugla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sven-Edvin Vedholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Johansson in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
