Stefan Landin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm made a huge save. The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when Dexiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Edvin Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dexiators's Sven-Edvin Vedholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Dexiators from getting a goal against them. After 14 minutes of play, Dexiators's Arvid Lekberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Frykberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 21 minutes of play, Dexiators's Robin Aleberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Frykberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johnny Söderström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arvid Lekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The long shot by Hjalmar Brodin in the 28th minute really tested Sven-Edvin Vedholm's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dick Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dexiators's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Brandt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Frykberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. August Frykberg came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dexiators's Jonny Strömberg. But to his dismay, Jonny Strömberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 39 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Albäck. After a rather tough play, Brothers of Mercy's Gustav Forssberg got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Brothers of Mercy's zone, Michel Vall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Frykberg came out of the goal and Michel Vall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Sven-Edvin Vedholm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Karl-Johan Söderberg got free in front of the goal in the 46th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sven-Edvin Vedholm was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Valentin Strömbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Sven-Edvin Vedholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Strömbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dick Brandt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving August Frykberg. That made the score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when Dexiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sven-Edvin Vedholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Söderberg came free, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dexiators booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Edvin Vedholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Dexiators's Michel Vall got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dexiators's Dick Brandt got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Brothers of Mercy's Stefan Landin in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dexiators's goalie prevented a goal. After 81 minutes, Gustav Forssberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brothers of Mercy and the Dexiators players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Söderström's shot from long distance in the 82nd minute was not bad at all, but Brothers of Mercy's August Frykberg knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Sven-Edvin Vedholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Landin in the 84th minute of the match. August Frykberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Vall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dexiators played a much better game than Brothers of Mercy and deserved their victory. The Brothers of Mercy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
