Edmund Bank kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Frosta Härad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, one of NovaStella FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NovaStella FK. Elias Bröms made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Tobias Kullgren sent off a good shot on target. Elias Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Felix Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torgny Finsberg made a kick off. Erling Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Ström in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Almkvist saved NovaStella FK from getting behind. Patrick Almkvist made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Torgny Finsberg sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Frosta Härad IF got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Finsberg. Edmund Bank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NovaStella FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eric Ström 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 78th minute, Sven-Åke Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Kullgren hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With his leg Patrick Almkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Frosta Härad IF's Torgny Finsberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, NovaStella FK's Erling Hellkvist got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, NovaStella FK's Patrick Almkvist got control of the ball when Torgny Finsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Frosta Härad IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
