Vännäsby BF's Kevin Wallengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Vännäsby BF from getting a goal against them. Orvar Engström came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Vännäsby BF's Marko Lindberg. But to his dismay, Marko Lindberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Arne Österlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Engström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 11th minute, Gunnar Bohlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Engström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 15th minute, Arne Österlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Engström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 19 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Kevin Wallengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Ljungberg. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when Hovby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Arne Löfskog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vännäsby BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hovby IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vännäsby BF's Arne Löfskog got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes, Vännäsby BF's Åke Olsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orvar Engström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vännäsby BF reached it. Orvar Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Bohlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Orvar Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Bohlin in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Hovby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Österlund came free, but Orvar Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vännäsby BF's Kevin Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Larsson in the 32nd minute of play. Kevin Wallengren made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Morgan Ljungberg sent off a good shot on target. Arne Österlund took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orvar Engström. Orvar Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 45th minute, Sten Siggesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Hovby IF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hampus Myhr hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Douglas Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folke Skräddare hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Hovby IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Marko Lindberg scored to the left of an out of position Orvar Engström, making the score, 0-6. Robert Aspengren made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gunnar Bohlin immediately put the ball in play. Vännäsby BF were furious when Folke Skräddare was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vännäsby BF! Vännäsby BF:s Kevin Wallengren showed great skill when he stopped Lennart Pilblad:s penalty. 71 minutes into the match, Lennart Pilblad notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Vännäsby BF's Kevin Wallengren. Kevin Wallengren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Douglas Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orvar Larsson's late challenge caught a Vännäsby BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orvar Larsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Orvar Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Marko Lindberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Orvar Engström to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Vännäsby BF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hovby IF.
