Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arne Österlund got the match started through his kick off. NovaStella FK's Erling Hellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Löfskog during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Vännäsby BF got a freekick which was hit by Arne Löfskog. 9 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Kevin Wallengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Kullgren. Kevin Wallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NovaStella FK's Patrick Almkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Österlund in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Hellkvist came free, but Kevin Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Holmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hannes Holmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match, Sven-Åke Hellström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kevin Wallengren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Folke Skräddare hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Tim Sandell hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Erling Hellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erling Hellkvist made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in NovaStella FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Marko Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Almkvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vännäsby BF's Marko Lindberg got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 88th minute Leif Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Vännäsby BF's Leif Askstedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrick Almkvist. Patrick Almkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The Vännäsby BF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vännäsby BF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
